Happy-belated New Year everyone,
I have unfortunately been ill for the whole of the year so far so haven't been off to a great start, however I was more than lucky in December as I went to St Lucia and visited some fantastic places one of which I want to show you now. On the last day of my holiday we visited Hotel Chcocolat while we were driving around and lazily heading back to the airport. It was one of the most incredible places I've ever been and I couldn't wait any longer to share it with you.
I will be sharing all of my travels from St Lucia soon so stay tuned but for now enjoy the magical world where I like to think oompa loompas might live.
There was chocolate in every dish; such as cocoa nibs in my burger, dark chocolate and vinegar sauce to dip bread in (which sounds gross but is actually amazing), and of course the deserts which were incredible. The one with lots of different parts, which is featured above was called a Chocolate Genesis, and was all the stages of chocolate from the 100% cocoa bean to truffles and a 65% chocolate drink, along with some coconut water because trying so much chocolate is thirsty work.
The chocococktails as I am going to call them were equally incredible, although in all honesty mine was non-alcoholic as I was still recovering from the night before, and the last night we had on the island. (Can you think of anywhere better to recover from a hangover than a chocolate retreat?!)
I will show be showing you the rest of my trip soon so stay up to date, and thank you for reading!
