Young, Strong, And Major Girl Crushes

Happy Monday everyone,

Today I wanted to focus on what can surely be describes as a universal love of  the power girl. With so many people in the media presenting a bad image for young women I want to celebrate the ending of 2015 with some young, inspirational women that are not only stunningly beautiful but shown they are strong as hell. So these are my top 3 major girl crushes for 2015.

Lily Rose Depp

You may already have see on my Twitter that she is a major girl crush of mine. I mean with a father like Johnny Depp you would expect greatness and boy, oh boy does she deliver. Not only is she stunningly beautiful, but recently took a brave move, especially for a 16 year old, to come out a sexually fluid. If you don't know what that means, it means that she falls somewhere on the LGBTQA spectrum. Although she hasn't clarified where on the spectrum she falls I don't think it matters. She is extremely strong and totally gorgeous and someone you should definitely follow on instagram @lilyrose_depp.

Chloe Grace Mortez

Admittedly, first coming to my attention as the badass little girl (Hitgirl) in Kickass, Chloe has had many roles both in the acting and modelling industries, including now being the face of Coach. But what I love most about this girl is not her incredible list of acclamations but her normality, claiming in an interview that "My mom has always said that if I get a big head, she'll take me out of this business as quickly as I got into it." There's nothing not to love about this girl or her instagram - @chloegmortez.

Emma Watson

How could there be a list of strong, beautiful girl crushes without the inclusion of this girl? As a massive Harry Potter fan, I can't help but bring up her incredible performance in that franchise (my favourite moment of hers still being when she punches Draco in the face) but that is not the reason she is on the list. Although she has proven herself as an incredible actress, and an incredible model, being the face of campaigns for Burberry and winning Best British Style at the 2014 British Fashion Awards, but her commitment to education and her women's rights work are outstanding. Not only has she graduated from Brown University with a bachelor's degree in English literature, become a certified yoga and meditation teacher, but additionally been appointed a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador, playing a key part in the founding of HeForShe a solidarity campaign for gender equality. At only 25 she is a definite aspiration and someone whose tweets are worth reading - @EmWatson
